What you think, you may become. What you do is who you are
Pay attention to what you think. Pay double to what you do.
We become what we think about. All of us have heard this phrase in our lives.
Our future indeed depends on what we think about the most. But I believe there’s something even more important than our future.
Our present.
Who we are in this present moment matters even more.
Then how do we know who we are?
That’s simple.
We are what we do not what we think.
Thinking is important but our ACTIONS define us. They reveal our true identity, and our hidden needs, desires, and motivations.
We may think we are hard-working, but if we binge-watch Netflix instead of doing real work then are we really?
We may think we are kind but if we yell and exercise our power over poor people then are we really?
We may think we love fitness but if we eat that cake instead of going to the gym then are we really?
We may think we love to read but if we browse social media mindlessly instead of picking up a book then do we really?
We may think we want to build a business but if we come home from the office and never take the time to educate ourselves then do we really?
See, thinking doesn’t matter much here. ACTION does.
What’s more important than action?
Daily CONSISTENT ACTION.
What we ACT on daily becomes a HABIT.
Good habits are the building blocks of success.
So, enough with the thinking, take the next step now.
